Font Identification Request: Resolved

This is now on WTF where Imagi from dafont believes it is close to Magistral

http://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/forum/viewthread.php?threadid=91775

It is also on Typophile where Steven thinks it's Harry Obese with a modified S and N

http://typophile.com/node/37009

I was wondering if anyone here knew maybe an exact match for the sample.

I know it's worth the try.

Thank you in advance

This is the closest I can get (for now). The font used is Iconian Fonts' Governor Expanded. No exact match though - as required - the S and the apostrophe don't match. The S from the Revue/Revue Wide is the only one I know that comes so close to the S in the pict that I would choose that one and modify it a little. Four corner points should do. The A is way, WAY, better than the A of Harry Obese.

I'll give it another try but hopes this helps in the mean time.

Hey there - just reading about this on WTF :-)

Thank you for trying -- hope all is well with you - I've missed you too :-)

Hi - Up early?

It's 7am - life has to begin somewhere

Have a great day... and thanks for helping Tophy

7 am That is coma time!

Thanks a lot Koeiekat,

you've come the closest.

At least we know where it comes from, because the original designer was out of reach, from work.

The S comes from Star-Jedi

FYI, i had the boards of

WhatTheFont, Abstratcfonts, Typophile.com, the private board of Dafont ex-modos, Lalogotheque.com searching all together !!

Thanks again.

:) You know Trophy, where ever you go ... the answer is always here.

I have made a copy of the Governor Extended with an S that will suit you. If you want it, let me know.

Always happy to help an old dafont friend,
