There are loads of these around. Many have 'antique' or 'antiqua' as a part of the font name. For example: the Caslon Antique.
AquilineTwo is just the style that I'm looking for. I'll try it out and see how well it fits. I'd still appreciate further suggestions, of course.

I'm looking for a script/handwritten kind of font with a fairly grungy look, and have found one that is nice but a little too distorted for what I have in mind. (Check the attached image for the font that I'm talking about.)
What I'm looking for is a similar free font, only a bit less grungy and a bit more legible. Any suggestions?
