Font Identification Request: Resolved

This is the logo for a friends mom's business. He wants to get an apron embroidered and they only deal in Vector graphics, so I'd like the font to make a clean graphic.

Thanks to all who look in advance!

I think it's an old font called Crystal but I could only find this version by George Williams.

Thanks for your suggestion; I'll download it and see if it will work. -TD

Also, QBF's version of Crystal is called Palace.

Nice finds McGee. The Crystal at onlyoneplace is a perfect match, however, has a problem with the F (the direction of the contours). The QBF Palace is not really like the example.

I've taken the liberty to fix the Crystal problem. To avoid naming problems with the other crystal and with a wink to QBF I've named it Crystal Palace.

I'll upload it in a few minutes.

Mmmm ... something wrong with the upload template. For the time being I've put the zipfile here.

I have just added Crystal Palace to the original zip.

This Crystal thing does smell a awful lot like the Maranallo - doesn't it?

Good work on that F Kat. Much better now! Don't know why the author's website is down.

Maranallo isn't bad but the serifs are a bit weak. A good alternative to consider for this style of font though.

Kat -

The Crystal thing was around a long time before Maranallo --

It's one of those original typositor faces we've talked about so many times....

The upload works again, thanks Alex, so I deleted the zip.
