Sorry, Adrian, this is a custom font designed exclusivly for the marketing machine of FIFA. made by Whitestone, called Welcome, not available to the public, just for FIFA-Sponsors.
But - good news - there ist the Font called Trivia, made by www.fontshop.de. It's a free font with a similar flavor and you can download it here: http://www.fontshop.de/sukr.php3?ch=%2Ffontproductdetailc.php3%3Fns%3D1%26sns%3D0%26ns%3D1%26sns%3D0%26ns%3D1%26sns%3D0%26co%3D%26co2%3D%26id%3D6034890
Some interesting comparisons between the typefaces you can read at Nick Blumes Blog: http://guillemets.de/weblog/trivia-welcome-vergleich (sorry just in german, but the pictures speak for themselves)
thanks for this it at least gives me the fifa text although it does not match the green writting as for instance the E is different.
Still thanks again.

For that E you may want to use the Handel Gothic. Besides from that, on the basis of the Trivia the whole thing can easily be reconstructed.
If you want to reconstruct it, I'd take the "E" from Danube in the lighter version and in a few clicks you have that special E...
Please can some one help me find the font used on the Germay 2006 world cup site please. I am after the font in green on the left hand side as shown below. Also a fifa looking font would be good.
