Looking for Pittsburgh Pirates script font...
I was wondering if anyone knew the name of the font used by the Pirates in their home and away jerseys. I'm trying to do their 1950's-style uniforms for a computer game, and I can't find a good enough head-on pic of their jerseys from that era to take the script from it (so I'm going to fabricate it myself). It's the same font seen here, but it's arched without vertical alignment. Thanks in advance... ---------------

Hi there-
You say "script" font: are you referring to the "PIRATES" text from your image (in which case not a script font at all), or some other font not visible in your sample image? I don't mean to nitpick but if I don't ask these kinds of things I very may not be able to help you... Audibly, -Tørnquist ---------------

Yup, that's exactly what I'm referring to. I use "script" as a generic term to describe the text on the front of the jersey :)
