hi fontomaniacs!

I would like u to help me identify the font that is used in the print ads of the car company volvo.

(I mean the font in the first line each...)

My first impression was something close to [i:9a15cdc232]Impact[/i:9a15cdc232] or [i:9a15cdc232]Haettenschweiler[/i:9a15cdc232], but more rounded.

Take a look at the very special (capital) [i:9a15cdc232]S[/i:9a15cdc232].

Wow, this was tough. But, after some exhaustive searching, here it is: Elston RR.

Note that the designers have condensed the lettering slightly. However, this is easily done with any word processor or vector-graphics program.
