the forums have been up about a month now im guessing... I have just finished saving money to buy the forum software since i dont have anough time to write one myself.

and alex, i remember when the forums went down, i was going to recommend invisionboard, which is free, but i never got ahold of you... but vB is much much better if not the best!

i am guessing you got an owned license this time as opposed to leasing like last time... that way you can keep them up...

i am currently saving for vB too! its quite expensive... i have 30 bucks set back for it... its gonna be just a general type forum for my site..

i am thinking about asking for small donations on some large forums towards a vB, you know, something like 1-5 dollars max... i wonder if it would work?

Yeah, vBulletins are very expensive.

I think [URL=http://phpbb.com]phpBB[/URL] is the best alternative, there are mods that enable you to have the features seen in vBs, and its free. vBulletin will always be the best, though.

i was actualy planning on writing my own BB... almost started but gave up because of school really killing me right now... checkout my frustration moment in really geeky, "i will draw a picture to get back at the evil"-like humour.
