guess I had the same problem. The solution: add/change registry entries at location Hkey_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Fonts. Looks tricky but isn't. I found the solution in a file (Windows95 or 98?) under win\tools\reskit\help\rk98book.chm, keywords "install fonts". Let me know, if you succeed.

I used to be able to install new fonts on my computer, but now I can't seem to. I have 312 fonts installed (including those that came with the computer), and everytime I extract a font file into the font folder, I still can't use it in Word or any other program. Why is this?
