Thats interesting - I´ll keep Gary in mind - at first I have to play around with my new digitizing-toy - at the moment I´m too dumb with digitizing, I would not even know what to ask.

Hi Catman,
@koeiekat:Hi minismama :) ... if it is only for embroidery this should be large enough to digitize, even when you need true type.
I have seperated the r and l for the sake of easier digitizing.
Thank you, this is great - i just got my digitizing program and hopefully will be able to digitize it in the next days as I´m just learning to do so.

I want to stitch it with my emboidery machine - thanks for the suggestions, I´ll have a look at these fonts! - re: Marzipan font - searching for close freefont

Ciao, Kati.
What's the use intended for that word? Do you really need it as a font, to use for texts, or an image would also do? If that's the case, you could clean up the image from the background and stream it with Illustrator. That way, you'd have the name as a vectorial logo, exportable in different formats – from the web to print quality.
However, I can't find an M like that but «Salamander», «Bitch Cakes» and «Harrison Font» may have similar As for the ascender, maybe not for the descender. You can find them on Dafont. - re: Marzipan font - searching for close freefont
